Dariya was born and raised in Elliot Lake, ON. Living so close to forests and water bodies she developed a deep love for the natural world. Soon realizing academic pursuits of connecting with nature was no longer fulfilling, she immersed herself deeply into the wild in many ways- extreme backpacking trips, wilderness camps, survival trips, vision quests, outdoor immersive programs, tiny house/off-grid living, and endless hours alone (awake and sleeping) in the wild. She is deeply committed to supporting kids and adults to find their true selves and purpose in the world by sharing her passion, skills, and experience with them.
